Dear Friends,

What a welcome relief the cooler weather is! Today the sun is shining, and while laughter (and groaning) is a regular feature in this studio, it feels so much lighter than when it rains! I have so much gratitude for the many people who have continued to work out despite the cloudy weather, and I know you are feeling the benefits of the work!

Pilates is unlike any other workout. During any given workout, you strengthen and stretch your muscles, lengthen and strengthen the spine, and create alignment and balance within the body. Your breath is increased as a result of breath connected movement, and your circulation is improved. It is such a joy to see people returning to movement after injuries and surgeries, regaining their range of motion, and maintaining their health!

Many people are traveling this month as a result of Fall Break. For those of you staying in town, that means openings in classes that are generally full. Check out the calendar on the website to try some classes that may have been previously unavailable to you! As always, we welcome requests and feedback. We hope to see you in the studio, and for those of you who are traveling, we wish you safe travels!
